hsmologoThe Humane Society of Missouri is a haven for animals in need of shelter, food, love and medical care who have been abandoned, neglected or abused. The HSMO’s mission is to end the cycle of abuse and pet overpopulation. They also investigate animal abuse/neglect cases, conduct rescue missions and provide educational classes and have a spay/neuter program.

The HSMO has adoption facilities in the city (1201 Macklind Avenue St. Louis, MO 63110 (314) 951-1562), and in Chesterfield  (17357 Edison Avenue Chesterfield, MO 63005 (636) 530-0806). They have medical facilities in Maryland Heights (2400 Drilling Service Rd. (Off Dorsett, two miles east of I-270 Maryland Heights, MO 63043 (314) 951-1590), Chesterfield and within the city limits as well.

The HSMO also have horses, cows, goats and even potbellied pigs and ducks at their Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, Mo. You can contact the ranch at (636) 583-8759.
