Support breast health, make a difference
I know October is typically the month to promote breast health and related cancer awareness – but it’s really something we should be thinking about daily. Did you know a recent survey found that although most women know there are simple steps they can take to support breast health, few actually put those steps in place?
From now until October 31, everyone has the opportunity to show that they’re not only taking a stand against breast cancer but they’re also raising money for the cause. Go to www.oneaday.com/takeastand, and creating a customizable character in honor of someone special. The program’s goal is to get women to take those easy initial steps in support of breast health.
In addition, for each character created, One A Day is making a contribution to a breast cancer cause selected by YOU and other participants! The organizations that will be included are: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Network of Strength.

I agree, breast cancer is something we should think about often, because it could affect anyone of us directly or indirectly. That’s why we need to be open to hearing about and supporting different types of breast cancer research.
