Around Town
I’m always looking for great blogs St. Louis parents can use. And recently I found quite a few! Check out Fun Things To Do With Your Kids in St. Louis. They’ve usually got a breakdown of what’s going on each day for the week. And not just activities in St. Louis county but within surrounding areas.
Another new (to me) blog, I’d recently ran across is Crazy Soccer Mom. The woman has seven children! Wow. My first thought was “That’s ALOT of laundry and homework.” And then I thought about what her credit card bills must look like after buying presents for seven children and almost fainted. I only have one child yet the laundry and homework seem to pile up. And Christmas for one is expensive enough! My hat is off to her.
Speaking of children, don’t you wish you had a manual on how to raise the little people running around your house? Well, two very cool chicks created the site, My Mommy Manual just for you! Check it out.
There’s a St. Louis area blogger who’s been around awhile. I adore her and don’t get to read her as much as I would like. But I thought I’d mention her this week too… I love that PoppyMom is about as “over” Christmas as I am. (She also writes here.)
Speaking of this whole Christmas thing… Another St. Louis area blogging mom has decided to change up the family’s usual tradition of mom doing most of the holiday work… The hubby’s going to manage more of the holiday mayhem. She writes about that decision here.
The mind behind StL Free For All is waxing poetic on a favorite treat of the season. Check out her love for almond bark pretzel rods.
Last but not least, congrats go out to Craig (You Could Call This a Blog) and his family. Their cat had been missing for more than 100 days. But recently Daisy was recognized and returned to the family. Yeay for them! And yeay for the person who recognized Daisy and returned her to her loving family.
