If you’re free Dec. 31 and want to ring in the new year family-style, you might want to check out First Night 2010: Wonderland in Grand Center. The St. Louis celebration has a Wonderland theme this year and is transforming parks, building, theaters and streetscapes in that area into a fun and festive party place.

The event includes a kick-off parade at 5:30pm, puppeteers, magicians, storytellers, street entertainers, and activities for children, including a children’s fireworks show at 9pm and lots of activities later into the Dec. 31 evening.

Bring your coats, mittens and hats! Some munchies and drinks like hot chocolate will be available for purchase.
