So recently I was offered a chance to try out a new shredder. One by Fellowes.

The shredder I currently posess is a very bare bones model and quite old. In fact, you have to set it on top of a box in order to catch the shreddings. It is kind of a pain in the butt to use. Since I don’t like to use it, I shove anything that needs to be shredded into a corner in my office. Combine that big corner of paper with a bunch of other stuff in there and well… I now have an office I don’t use because there’s too much junk in it. And I don’t like to work in a crowded, disorganized space. (I know! I have a home office I don’t use because its too messy. So I sit on the couch in the living room to work instead. I see how stupid that is.)

So the Fellowes MS-460Ci Medium-Duty Jam Proof Micro-Cut Shredder arrived just in the nick of time. What did I think of it?

In short, this shredder is the cadillac of shredders. Its pretty, fairly compact yet self-standing and easy to use. And did I mention quiet while it works? Yes, many of the current shredders on the market make loud jarring sounds as they eat through paper. In fact, sometimes, if you feed several pages into a home office sized shredder, you hear it almost groan in protest. Not this one. This shredder definitely has a ”can-do” attitude. And it doesn’t jam as easily as many other shredders of this size. Trust me, I tried!
