Children’s Home Society of Missouri (CHS) is a non-profit social services agency with a mission to improve the quality of life for children in need.

According to the site, “Our founders were pioneers in the emerging field of child welfare and envisioned a society that would provide homes for neglected and abused children. We have provided safe, permanent and loving homes for children since 1891.” And that’s why the great organization is our spotlight charity of the month.
