Glade Adds Soy Based Candles To Line-Up

Posted by on August 17, 2010

I have a very sensitive sense of smell. Between two dogs, two gassy critters of the human variety and what is typically a sink full of dishes, I’m always secretly fear my house might smell as bad or worse than a barn in the middle of July.

Ick.

So when a lovely PR rep asked if I’d like to review the soy based candles that are a part of the Glade Fragrance Collection? I promptly replied. (My response might have been a simple “yes please.” In all caps.)

I was sent a three-wick candle in Lotus Bamboo. And once unpacked, I immediately tried out. The scent is refreshing, clean, slightly floral. It didn’t take long to fill the kitchen and family room area with the subtle scent. This was no surprise. I’ve used a number of Glade products over the years particularly the scented oils, candles, and scented gel plug-ins. But I’ve got to tell you, this is my favorite fragrance and product thus far. (And by the way? These products are a part of the SC Johnson Wax family.)

According to Glade’s site, the “candles are made from at least 92% natural ingredients.” And if you’re interested in finding out what’s inside the Glade Fragrance Collection product line, feel free to click HERE.

The product can be found at most supermarkets and places like Target or Wal-Mart next to the other Glade products.

I was not compensated for this review. I was given the product to try out.
